Delegates set to flood to the shores of Lake Victoria
Well it’s Saturday evening at the Speke Resort on the placid shores of Lake Victoria. The weather is quite interesting – a series of huge thunder claps echoed around the low, green hills and set off one or two car alarms. There have been sporadic showers, some quite heavy. Fingers crossed that the weather doesn’t disrupt things too much.
After months of work, nearly everything is in place and we now expecting over 400 people from nearly 50 countries. It is going to be amazing.
So other good(ish) news is that the proposed strike of Border Control staff at Heathrow Airport is happening on the 30th November, in the middle of the Forum, so hopefully no-one who is flying through the UK to or from Uganda will be affected….
